"Mall Walker" is the third single from our self-titled debut album.

As a funky tie-in with the song and video for “Mall Walker," we give you MALL WALKER EP, a surprise experimental EP of retro mall muzak.

The shopping mall has always held a paradoxical place in American culture; both a breezy bastion of teenage freedom and a cathedral of capitalist conformity. A neon wonderland of food courts and arcades and an environmental disaster with oversized parking lots and gargantuan buildings. These massive institutions are now in decline, fading from our weekly routines and from our minds. Keep the mall of your mind alive.

Be aware, this is not a normal Slow Coda release. It's an experimental instrumental EP engineered to sound like what you might hear while walking through a shopping mall in 1993 on your way to Sbarro. In short, it was a way for us to have some fun testing out Nicholas' new home studio setup (Sure Why Not Studios) before beginning work on the follow-up to our album. Enjoy!
